Based in our studio in rural Staffordshire, we spend our days sourcing honest, one-of-a-kind antiques, vintage piece and studio pottery wares that bring a sense of 'slow living' to the modern home.

From the grit of a 1970s stoneware vase to the smooth patina of a primitive wooden candlestick, these are items that have stood the test of time. By choosing vintage, you aren't just finding a unique treasure; you’re choosing a more sustainable, circular way of living."

The Sourcing

Every item in the "Roost" is hand-selected. We spend our weekends scouring antique markets, estate sales, and dusty corners of the UK to find the pottery, glass, and textiles that move us. If we wouldn't put it in our own home, it doesn't make it into the shop

With a ‘forever love’ of all things ‘old’, we are immensely proud of our small business and strive, not only to provide exceptional customer service, but to offer an honest, detailed sense of history with each piece we sell and we hope this shows!

Every Roof + Roost treasure is expertly wrapped in 100% plastic-free, recyclable materials - ensuring it reaches you safely without costing the earth. We ship across the UK from our Staffordshire home, and in the rare event that something doesn't arrive as expected, we promise a 'no-fuss' resolution. Your peace of mind is just as important to us as the pieces we sell."

Why are you called Roof + Roost?

Good question! Roof + Roost's studio, started life based in a 16th century thatched cottage, nestled in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside; a constant source of inspiration for us! So, that's the 'Roof' and quite simply, the word 'Roost' to us, symbolises everything that's warm and homely, naturally making 'Roof + Roost' a befitting name, for our much loved brand!
