A rare survivor from a 19th-century British tavern, this diminutive "1/4 gill" pewter measure - traditionally known as a noggin -was designed for the precise pouring of spirits. Featuring a heavy-bellied form and thick-cast handle characteristic of Victorian pewter smithing, it retains a deep, unpolished gunmetal patina that preserves its historical integrity.
