Celtic Pottery was established in the mid-1960s by Bill and Maggie Fisher in Mousehole, later moving to Newlyn. This bowl features an iconic modernist fish design, which was a collaborative development between Maggie Fisher and Ev Stevens. Known for its distinctive sgraffito-style lines and rich, moodier glazes, this range became a bestseller of the 1970s and remains a highly collectable example of West Country studio pottery.
