Vintage Grayshott Pottery Stoneware Goblets – Pair of Hand-Thrown Studio Pottery Wine Chalices

The Story:
This beautiful pair of vintage stoneware goblets are from the renowned Grayshott Pottery, in Hindhead, Surrey. Featuring a robust, hand-thrown form and a tactile, speckled oatmeal finish (with subtle horizontal ribbing from the potter’s wheel) they are perfect to use or to display!

The Details:
• Markings: Both have the impressed GP (Grayshott Pottery mark) on their bases
• Age: c 1960s-1970s
• Condition: Both in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing.
• Dimensions: 14cm H x 8cm W diameter at opening

Good to know:
Made from high-fired stoneware, they are designed to be durable and hold temperatures (hot or cold) well, perfect for wine, hot chocolate or mead!
